1. Eligibility: The Prestone® "Get Road Ready" Sweepstakes (the "Sweepstakes") is intended to be played in the 50 United States, the District of Columbia, and Canada (excluding Quebec). Do not proceed in the Sweepstakes site if you are not a legal resident of and located in the 50 United States, District of Columbia, or Canada (excluding Quebec) at the time of entry. Sweepstakes entry period starts at 12:00:01 a.m. EDT on April 1, 2008, and ends at 11:59:59 p.m., EDT on September 30, 2008 ("Sweepstakes Entry Period").
Void in Puerto Rico, Quebec and wherever prohibited. Sweepstakes is open only to legal residents of the 50 United States, the District of Columbia and Canada (excluding Quebec) who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry.
Honeywell Consumer Products Group, a division of Honeywell International Inc. ("Sponsor") is the sole sponsor of this Sweepstakes. Employees and agents of the Sponsor and its affiliates , agencies, subsidiaries, distributors, sales representatives, agents, advertising and promotional agencies, and the immediate families (parent, spouse, child or sibling or the spouse of each) and household members of each such employee are not eligible to participate or win. This Sweepstakes is subject to all applicable federal, state, provincial and local laws and regulations, and is void where prohibited by law.
2. How to Enter: Fill out the official online entry form available at www.getroadready.com during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. Entrants must follow the entry instructions and provide complete and accurate information in all of the information fields on the entry form. When your entry is complete, click on the area marked "Enter Now!" (once submitted, an entry cannot be deleted, canceled, or modified). Limit one entry per person/E-mail/household per day during the Sweepstakes Entry Period. You may enter the Sweepstakes under one e-mail address only. Entries must originate only through www.getroadready.com to be eligible. Enter using only an e-mail address subscribed and registered in your name. In the event of a dispute as to entries submitted by multiple individuals using the same e-mail account, entry will be deemed to have been submitted by the authorized subscriber of the e-mail account used to enter the Sweepstakes at the actual time of entry. The authorized e-mail account subscriber is deemed to be the natural person who is assigned the e-mail address by an Internet access provider, on-line service provider or other organization which is responsible for assigning e-mail addresses or the domain associated with the submitted e-mail address. Entries generated by script, macro, robotic, programmed, or any other automated means are prohibited and will be disqualified. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, or misdirected entries. Receipt of entries will not be acknowledged. Sponsor reserves the right to terminate, modify or suspend the Sweepstakes should there be a security breach, fraud or other circumstances affecting the fair administration of the Sweepstakes. In the event of termination, Sponsor will award the prizes to randomly selected entries received prior to termination.
3. Winning: 10 First Prize Winners will be selected in a random drawing conducted on or about October 15, 2008 at 2 p.m. in Camanche IA , under the supervision of Promotion Fulfillment Center, an independent judging organization, from among all eligible entries received. If a potential winner is a Canadian resident, he/she must correctly answer a timed mathematical skill-testing question administered via phone or email by a judge prior to being declared a winner. Failure to correctly answer the mathematical skill-testing question or respond to the email containing the mathematical skill-testing question within the designated time period will result in disqualification and an alternate winner may be selected. By participating, entrants agree to abide by and be bound by the Official Rules and by the decisions of the judges, which are final and binding in all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. Odds of winning depend on number of eligible entries received.
4. Prizes: Ten (10) First Prizes: Each winner will receive a Magellan GPS Roadmate 2000. Approx. Retail Value $250. Total Approximate Retail Value of all available prizes is $2,500. Limit one prize per person/household/address. Sponsor has the right to substitute prizes of any value for any reason at its sole discretion. Any difference between stated value and actual value will not be awarded.
5. Conditions: For U.S. residents only, all taxes on prizes, if any, are the responsibility of the winners. By entering, every winner consents to the use of his/her name, photo and/or likeness for publicity purposes without further compensation, except where prohibited by law. Prizes are not transferable, except as provided herein. No cash redemptions. Sponsor will attempt to send the Prizes directly to winners at the address provided at www.getroadready.com upon registration Prizes will not be sent to Post Office Boxes.. In the event that a prize comes back undeliverable, prize will be forfeited and will not be awarded. Winners release Sponsor and its directors, officers, employees and agents including without limitation, their advertising and promotion agencies, from any and all liability, loss or damage (INCLUDING PERSONAL INJURY AND/OR DEATH) incurred with respect to the awarding, receipt, possession and/or use of any prize or participation in any prize or Sweepstakes related activity. Sponsor is not responsible for incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by Internet users or by and of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Sweepstakes or by any technical or human error which may occur in the processing of the entries. Sponsor is not responsible for computer system, phone line, hardware, software, or program malfunctions or other errors, failures or delays in computer transmissions or network connections that are human or technical in nature. The Sponsors failure to enforce any term of these official rules shall not constitute a waiver of that provision. Entrants are responsible for compliance with all applicable laws.
6. Claiming Prizes: All prize claims are subject to verification by Sponsor. In the event of noncompliance with these office rules, if prize is returned as undeliverable, if winner is deemed ineligible for any reason, or a prize winner declines prize offer, prize will be forfeited and an alternate winner will be selected via random drawing.
7. Disputes: Except where prohibited, entrant agrees that any and all disputes, claims and causes of action arising out of, or connected with, the Sweepstakes or any prize awarded shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action, and exclusively by the appropriate court located in Connecticut. All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Official Rules, entrants rights and obligations or the rights and obligations of the Sponsor in connection with the Sweepstakes shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of Connecticut, without giving effect to any choice of law of conflict of law rules (whether of Connecticut or any other jurisdiction), which would cause the application of the laws of any jurisdiction other than Connecticut.
8. Winners List: Winners' names will be available on-line at www.getroadready.com, or, for the names of the Winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: "Prestone Get Road Ready" Sweepstakes Winners, P.O. Box 5500-ff, Clinton, IA 52736-5500 by October 15, 2008. Canadian residents may exclude return postage.
